About LifeStyle Medical Centers
LifeStyle Medical Centers strive to work with providers to offer evidence-based lifestyle modification and medical nutrition therapy to patients. We have the staff and process in place to make it as easy as possible for referring providers.
Why You Need Us
Sometimes it’s difficult to encourage patients to take the necessary steps to improve their health, which is why we work tirelessly on your behalf to insure proper follow through on their appointments. We treat a wide range of needs, including weight loss or management, chronic disease, preventive care, bariatric surgery support, nutrition support before, during and after pregnancy and more.
Our Care Team
Registered Dietitians are trained to provide evidenced-based medical nutrition therapy. They will work with you on a range of topics including a Comprehensive Nutritional analysis of your diet, specific issues that may be related to your diet, as well as individualized physical activity and meal planning.
Clinicians (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners)
The Physician Assistants (PA’s) and Nurse Practitioners (NP’s) complement the dietitians by providing medical guidance and education within the context of healthy lifestyle changes. For example, in addition to providing nutrition counseling in coordination with the registered dietitians, the clinicians also provide appetite suppressant consultations, chronic disease education, sleep assessments, smoking cessation counseling as well as regular progress visits which are communicated with your primary care physician. Your dietitian will work with you to schedule appointments with our clinicians.
Our medical assistants provide crucial logistical support to our Registered Dietitians and Medical Clinicians. From the collection of vitals to carrying out preliminary health assessments, they work hard to make sure you enter your counseling sessions with all the data and information that’s needed to help ensure a successful outcome.
