Ali was born and raised in upstate New York and grew up on every kind of sports field imaginable. That love of all things sports carried over into college where she was a member of the University of Connecticut Women’s Rowing team while she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science. After undergrad, she completed her Dietetic Internship and Master’s Degree at The State University of New York at Buffalo and quickly fled to Florida after graduation, leaving snowy winters behind. Her love for nutrition blossomed after being given the opportunity to teach nutrition at a Healthy Lifestyle camp to children and teens struggling with their weight. It was so motivating and rewarding to witness their transformation, and help them fully understand why good nutrition, coupled with regular exercise and healthy habits, are essential in living a healthy life. She has a passion for helping people, especially youth, find their path back to health and ultimately becoming their best selves. She comes to LMC with experience in Long Term Care, Home Infusion, and Oncology as well as Pediatric weight management. In her free time, Ali loves to craft, try new restaurants and spend time with her husband and 2 lab puppies, Bear and Bronco.
