Emilie Riddle is a Registered Dietitian who recently relocated to North Carolina from Vermont, where she discovered her passion for local, sustainable foods, and her commitment to supporting holistic wellness through nutrition counseling. She believes that balance is key to a living a healthy, more vibrant life, and enjoys helping people find ways to eat and live well that work for them as individuals. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English at Montana State University, Emilie pursued a career in education, working with students from preschool through college-age in a variety of settings. She returned to school at the University of Vermont to earn a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Sciences, and continued on to complete her Dietetic internship and a Master’s degree in Dietetics. Her Master’s research focused on food insecurity on college campuses, and she has a special interest in food access. In her free time, Emilie enjoys playing outside and baking with her young son. She is an avid reader and gardener and is looking forward to exploring the great outdoors in North Carolina.
