Originally from Maryland, Erin came to North Carolina for school at Elon University where she received her Bachelor of Arts. Following her passion for food, she received a certificate in Sustainable Farming in 2012. Learning about the nutrition of soil and plants is what sparked her interest in human nutrition and led her to pursue a Master of Science in Nutrition and to complete her dietetic internship at Meredith College. The connection between food, nutrition and the world and is something Erin loves sharing with her clients.
Erin believes that food uniquely impacts individuals in physical, emotional and social ways. Her mission is to empower clients to live healthier lives through individualized plans that foster long-term, sustainable changes. Erin has experience in a variety of settings including clinical dietetics, eating disorders, wellness, community nutrition, local food systems and agricultural education. She is passionate about helping people reach their personal health goals and has particular interests in weight management, emotional eating issues, and chronic disease management and prevention.
In her free time, Erin enjoys photography, gardening, running, and traveling with her husband and pug, Talula-May.
