Jenni Grover, our Director of Nutrition, has 9 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian. She received her Masters of Science in Nutrition from Meredith College in Raleigh and holds Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management Levels 1 and 2, as well as a Certificate of Training in Adolescent Weight Management. Jenni has expertise in a broad range of nutrition and wellness issues, with a particular focus on weight and chronic disease management, as well as a passion for women’s health (fertility, PCOS, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause) and pediatric nutrition counseling. She has written extensively on nutrition matters for prominent lifestyle websites including TLC’s Parentables and Mother Nature Network (MNN.com).
Jenni believes that healthy eating and an active lifestyle are the best forms of preventive medicine there is, and she is also well versed in the topic of herbalism and alternative medicine. As the mother of two young girls, Jenni is also convinced that any plan for healthy eating has to take into account a patient’s lifestyle—including family eating habits, likes and dislikes, and budget. Jenni is a passionate advocate for local food and home cooking and is just a little bit obsessed with beating her FitBit goals.
