Sweet and Spicy Baked Salmon

Serve this easy salmon with Roasted Asparagus and a side of Quinoa or Brown Rice for a complete meal.
- 1 1/4 lb salmon filet
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.
- Place salmon, skin side down, on foil
- Combine paprika through salt in a small bowl. Rub spice mixture over salmon and drizzle with lemon juice. Bake salmon in oven until almost cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- **If you are planning to have leftovers for this dish, make sure to not overcook the salmon. Cooking to just opaque in the center will help make sure the salmon does not get overcooked when you reheat.
